Tech Guys Fix Marketing, LLC (“Scale Mechanics,” “we,” “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, the choices you have, and the rights you can exercise when you use scalemechanics.com.

Information We Collect

We collect information you give us directly — your name, email address, payment details, and anything you submit through a form, quiz, or application. We also collect limited technical and usage data automatically, such as pages viewed, referring site, and general device information, as described under Cookies & Tracking below.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to process and deliver purchases, provide customer support, send the emails you ask for, operate and improve the site, keep it secure, and — only where permitted — measure and run marketing.

Cookies & Tracking Technologies

We sort cookies and similar storage into three categories, and you control the last two:

  • Strictly necessary — required to run the site (sign-in sessions, secure checkout, fraud prevention). These are always on and carry no analytics or advertising data.
  • Analytics — first-party, privacy-respecting measurement of which pages help. We do not sell or share this data with advertisers.
  • Marketing & chat — loads our CarsonBot chat assistant and any conversion tools, which may set third-party cookies.

Nothing in the Analytics or Marketing categories runs until you choose to allow it. When you first visit, a banner lets you accept all, reject all, or customize by category. You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie Preferences link in the footer.

Global Privacy Control

We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal. If your browser or extension sends GPC, we automatically treat it as an opt-out of the sale or sharing of your personal information and default the optional categories to off.

Third-Party Services

We rely on a small set of vetted providers, each governed by its own privacy policy: Dodo Payments (our Merchant of Record, for payments and sales tax), Supabase (authentication and data storage), Kit.com (email marketing), Resend (transactional email and broadcasts), and CarsonBot (our chat assistant). We do not sell your personal information for money.

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing.

  • EEA / UK (GDPR): you may access, rectify, erase, restrict, or port your data, object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior processing.
  • California & other U.S. states (CCPA/CPRA, VCDPA, CPA, and similar): you may know what we collect, delete it, correct it, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information — and we will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

Data Retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law (for example, tax and transaction records), then delete or anonymize it.
